From U.S.-China relations to the international women’s movement to the enlargement of the United Nations Security Council, the Elliott School’s International Affairs Review (IAR) provides a unique forum for the policy perspective of tomorrow’s leaders on critical issues facing the world today. IAR is divided into two editions: print and web. IAR’s print edition publishes a biannual journal made up of policy-oriented papers (4,000-6,000 words), and IAR’s web edition publishes policy issue or analytical articles on current international affairs (800-1200 words).

Submission Guidelines

The International Affairs Review is currently accepting article submissions. Submissions for the website are accepted on a weekly basis with a deadline of 5 p.m. Eastern Standard Time each Thursday. Submissions for the print journal are accepted continuously, with article selection occurring at the beginning of each semester.
